Compression reduction VW V6 2.8L – 2.5mm steel

Compression reduction for the Golf / Bora / Sharan in 2.5mm steel.

Engine codes: AQP, AUE, AYL, BDE, AMV

Designed for Elring / Reinz multi-layer steel gaskets. Our shop also offers a complete gasket with integrated compression reduction.

When converting to a turbocharger or supercharger, the compression ratio must be reduced. This can be achieved with special pistons or a spacer plate. This allows significantly higher boost pressures and power outputs. Under forced induction, the original pistons would not withstand the resulting temperatures at standard compression ratios.

Other thicknesses are available on request.
